Fourth Trade from Karrans of Hyde Park

Earlier this evening I visited John from Karrans of Hyde Park (Watch and Jewellery Specialists and Certified Diamond Broker). When the third trade of the gold bracelet from Lea-Anne was made, I came up with an idea of approaching John Karran, of Karrans of Hyde Park, who I knew from back in the days I worked as a broadcast technician for an Adelaide radio station. Maybe I was a bit self critical in the opening posts of this challenge when I said I have no creativity.

Internet research shows that John and Lynn Karran already do considerable amounts for charity being sponsors of the St. John Ambulance Australia "Paint the Town Red" Ball. So I wasn't going to be surprised if John couldn't take part in "The Special Zipper" challenge. No chance of that however and John came through with the goods.

The gold bracelet was traded this evening for a "gift voucher" to purchase any item in the store to the value of two hundred and fifty dollars. I told John I was so pleased that I would do backflips but then decided that wasn't such a great idea given five months post knee recon.

The voucher reads:

"Congratulations ... This Voucher entitles you to Purchase any item in our store to the Value of Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($250.00) IN SUPPORT OF "THE SPECIAL ZIPPER " CHALLENGE (including repairs and services)

They have some great gear in the store so don't sit back and wait ... offer that uptrade now. This is a great cause so let's see how big we can jump in the value of the next trade. Remember the item may not be of significant value to yourself anymore but if it has a good trading value, then we may well be interested.
