Fifth Trade Finalised - Trading Reopens

The fifth trade has just taken place with my cousin from Melbourne visiting Adelaide and bringing with him the trade of a signed frame print of Dennis (DK) Lillee with frame by frame of his bowling action. Peter organised for the print to be signed and I was able to select what I wanted Dennis to sign. I chose "All the best" as it was general and my thought was it would help increase the value despite wanting to put something heart related on it. The print also has a space for the number of the print in the limited edition of 1500. Instead of a number, Dennis has written and initialed that this print is "from my private collection". This is absolutely brilliant and has to increase the value and subsequent demand and uptrade ability of the item.

It is fabulous that Dennis has taken the time to specifically add the words that I wanted but also that the print is from his private collection. Tarnya and I thank Dennis very much. Dennis was my cricket idol in my younger years and is renound as being one of the best fast bowlers of all time. How timely is this given the forthcoming ashes series.

The following piece from youtube gives a quick glimpse about Dennis Lillee.

Huge thanks to Peter for organising this and obviously thanks to Dennis as well ... it is much appreciated and provides the next step in this very worthwhile challenge. For those that saw the three clues along the way, all should make perfect sense now.

So trading reopens ... what would you offer for this uniquely signed print of Dennis Lillee? We have to be looking at about $2000 or so for the next trade. It may be that this print signed by Dennis Lillee as "from my private collection" and signed "all the best" could be part of your collection and to gain it you may have something of an uptrade value that you no longer need or require. Remember it doesn't have to be something physical as such ... look at oneredpaperclip if you need inspiration. There was a recording contract and numerous other "outside the box" trades.
